Recent feelings... Soulmates...?

Hi guys,

been feeling really low lately, i guess is partly due the fact that i been slacking for the past one month due to the problems i have had as deplicted on my previous entries. Being alone at home really sucks, u get all the time to think about silly things that u usually do not have time for, u would want to get out of the house but you think twice as you are not paid due to the fact that you have not started work so thats out of the question.

I do go out though, i just keep myself from spending too much. Even when i do go out, most of my usual group of friends are couples so you do really get left out sometimes. Of course, there are those who simply love to give public displays of affection, even right in front of me, completely disregarding of how his/her friend might feel. I'm not against such displays but do give a thought to those who are still single. Tone it down abit people!

The good news though, is that i have passed my second trade test, and will be starting my OJT as soon as they get the details ready. Therefore i prolly won't be as free as i am now for long.

I'm starting to look at studying again, prolly due to my friend/colleague Bear's (Weixiong) influence. Felling kinda motivated by his drive to progress in the job. He has already started on the road of being an Engineer within 7 - 10 years by enrolling himself in ITE for his higher nitec in view of getting to poly, even before he started his OJT. I'm looking at Singapore Poly's Part-time 5-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as it allows me to go for a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering in the 3rd year onwards, so i should start saving as soon as i start work and get paid. The diploma, coupled with the experience of working in the industry, should put me in good stead for applying to be an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer. I hope things do work out for us.

Since i'm so free, i have been poking my nose around my music files and found this song that i have noticed from my ex-classmate's blog (Latifa's) - Soulmate by Natasha Bedingfield. I felt that the lyrics are really meaningful (relates to me too in this case) and Natasha Bedingfield's vocals really suit the sentimental theme of the song, hence the change of the theme song of my blog.
