Watched Bloody Valentine 3D with Pegs after work.

3D glasses make me so handsome. XD

Messin' around

Pegs was quite apprehensive about my suggestion to take photos of us with the glasses in the cinema but once she started, she couldn't stop.

XD

We aren't the only ones taking pics of ourselves though, the couple next to us promptly whipped out a camera after sitting down.

XD

BTW me and Pegs agreed that Bloody Valentine was not really scary although i did notice in the corner of my eye that "someone" got startled a few times whilst watching the movie...

XD

Pegs mentioned that i wore my Man Utd jersey everytime i went out with her... REALLY?! Didn't realise that. I guess i just grabbed whatever shirt i could find and left the house... never realised that! I'll keep a mental note of it, i promise.

A shopping spree in the works, perhaps?

XD

Played soccer after work with the peeps. Marcus and Carol came down and joined us for the very first time! Carol wasted no time getting out her camera and started snapping away after our game. We then proceeded to restore the fats that we've lost at the newly renovated KKFC. The decor was nice but there was no more free drink refills... So sad.

Relaxing after the game

Tired but happy

Dave

Mortal enemies... we were on the same team btw... XD

Tuesday, 31st March 2009

Took a day off to settle some stuffs as well as to go and apply for my new passport. The old one was dirty, spoilt and running out of pages. Watched Paul Bart, Mall Cop with Pegs (I treated her to watch the movie with me -again- and she treated me to a nachos combo in return) at night. The movie was quite funny, although i didn't really enjoy the movie due to the emoing i was going though at that point of time. Pegs went to find her friends after that and i met up with the godbro - he was having problems - for dinner.

All i need is a kiss from you, my dearest... Pain(t)Ball!

SPNS LEG 2 on 17th May 2009 @ Pasir Ris Park (Native Lawn)! Please come and support!

Had Arnold's with Dave again, wacked loads of chicken again (Dave's fault XD). Went to Cineleisure to la "Yuen Yang" (Coffee mixed with Tea) at Xing Wang (Hongkong Cafe). Roland, Michael and Leon came over to meet us.

Met Andy, My BMT mate after that (evidently he was also at Cineleisure and he saw me and called me) and we chatted for quite long. Roland and co went off to Jalan Kayu. Me and Dave would later move off to Yishun Dam where we were joined by Bear. Went off to AMK Mac after that as it was gonna rain. Went home around 4+ am.

Movie Review - Game Plan

Story of rugged superstar quarterback Joe Kingman (DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON), whose Boston-based team is chasing a championship. A serial bachelor, Kingman is living the ultimate fantasy: hes rich, famous and the life of the party. But this dream is suddenly sacked for a loss when he discovers the 7-year-old daughter (newcomer MADISON PETTIS) he never knew he had the product of a last fling before parting years ago with his young wife.

* * *

Watched this yesterday night with my bro, so here it is...

Joe Kingman is this (American) football star who thinks he has it all, money, fame, the works. He does however, feel that somehow, something is missing from his life. He does not realise what it is until this little girl shows up at his door and announces that she is his daughter and will be staying with him for a month.

Slowly but surely, he learns to appreciate whats life on the "other side" without his "Man Card", and forges an unbreakable bond between him and his daughter. This bond is what made him finally realise what he was missing in life and motivates him on to win the coveted championship in the end.

My verdict:

You should watch this hilarious comedy or u will regret it!!

Movie Review - Superbad

Superbad

"Superbad" revolves around two co-dependent high school seniors (Hill and Cera) who set out to score alcohol for a party, believing that girls will then hook up with them and they will be ready for college. But as the night grows more chaotic, overcoming their separation anxiety becomes a greater challenge than getting the girls.

Watched this great movie on Saturday with the usual gang so here it is!

This hiliarious movie is about a trio of graduating high school nerds who wanted to score some girls to get themselves "ready" for college. Low in confidence, they resort to getting girls drunk so as to make their mission to get "laid" easier. They get invited to this party by a girl and promised to get drinks for them. Their adventures while procuring the booze will make you laugh your a**es off and leave you with aching stomaches and teary eyes from all that laughter. In their quest for girls and booze, their bonds are tested and ultimately, friendship and sanity prevails and they all get what they wanted, fame and the girl.

MY VERDICT:

If you miss this movie, you're either stupid or under 18.

XD

PS: The movie is rated M18 for its Coarse Language & Sexual References. People who have a distaste for "english" vulgarities or sexual references... You are so missing out... Cheers!

Movie Review - The Brave One

The Brave One

New York radio host Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) has a life that she loves and a fiance she adores. All of it is taken from her when a brutal attack leaves Erica badly wounded and her fiance dead. Unable to move past the tragedy, Erica begins prowling the city streets at night to track down the men she holds responsible. Her dark pursuit of justice catches the public's attention, and the city is riveted by her anonymous exploits. But with the NYPD desperate to find the culprit and a dogged police detective (Terrence Howard) hot on her trail, she must decide whether her quest for revenge is truly the right path, or if she is becoming the very thing she is trying to stop.

Watched it on Saturday, so here's the review on it...

The story itself is very interesting, as Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) seemed to have it all, love, career, only to lose it all after an attack at a park which leaves her unable to work and her lover dead. On the road to recovery, she battles with her inner fears and therefore purchasing a gun for protection. She kills someone in self-defence not long after and everything bad seemed to be attracted to her. The killings grew more and more and she was labelled a vigilante. Very soon, her lust for revenge was kindled and she starts searching for the perpetrators who made her lose everything. On the way, she befriends a "good cop" (Terrence Howard) who gets suspicious of her vigilante ways and tries to stop her just as she finds the ones responsible for her plight.

The story ends with an predictable ending but with an unexpected twist... What happened? I would suggest you watch it and find out.

I think Jodie Foster should win an award for such marvelous acting!

MY VERDICT:

Walao... You muz be really "niao" download such a good movie.

Movie Review - Resident Evil: Extinction

Watched it last Monday, the story goes abit like this...

The third and final installment of the $100 million RESIDENT EVIL hits, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION is again based on the wildly popular video game series and picks up where the last film left off. Alice (MILLA JOVOVICH), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (ODED FEHR) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke ) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead...and to seek justice.

After watching the movie, it left me deeply disappointed about parting with my money to watch such a boring movie. The action was, well, tasteless and was about as boring as someone changing a baby's diaper. The storyline was, well, almost non-existent. The sidekicks were, erm, virutally, EXTRAS or, making cameo appearances for want of a better description.

MY VERDICT:

You are better off downloading it if u really want to watch it.
