Sickly week and yes, i'm yours...

Hi.

Its been a sickly week for me, started with a cough on monday at work which got progressively worse till i got home, after which i developed a bloody high fever at 38.2 degrees. Fell into a feverish sleep soon after.

Woke up on tuesday morning, still felt sucky. Measured my temp again only to find out that its gone up to 38.6 degrees. Fell asleep again after smsing my guys at work that i'll be seeing the doctor due to illness. Woke up again at 11 to see the doc and felt better after taking the meds. Nua-ed the whole day.

Wednesday came very fast and i went to work as usual. No problems except for the sore throat.

Thursday came and had flu. Had to work with tissue on hand to mop up my nose. Felt terrible. Was quite busy too.

Felt cheery on friday, as on all fridays, no illnesses today.

Saturday came and it was all good for the first half of the day. Went to Acer again to collect my portable disk drive, had dinner with my father afterwhich i met bear to go to ikea. That was when it started going bad. Had stomache cramps there and then. It got progressively worse throughout the night, rolling about in pain on my bed until about 4am when i remembered i got some pamacematol left over from my high fever meds. Popped a couple and fell asleep immediately.

Woke up to loud music, gongs and drums. Someone was getting married underneath my block. Felt better although there were still some cramping here and there.

It did not help when i saw the Manchester United vs Liver-poo score. Disappointing. Oh well, Championships are not lost due to a single match. Hope SAF and the team bring home to championship again this year so that we can get back at the poos and show them who's boss.

Another one of the "Bros" has found a girlfriend! I guess i'm the last of the lot... but i hope i'm not the least! :(

Spent the whole day inserting tags for all the older posts... Added a few new songs to the playlist. Tired... mebbie i'll go back to sleep again. I wonder if i'll have the time to sleep when i start school next month. Night shift next week, perhaps i will...

Shopping, killing, eating and then more shopping!

Yo!

Had a very good weekend, shopped alot and spent alot... now my wallet is very light hahha.

Went to bugis with cavin on Saturday to meet up with peggie to pass her the "stuff" she wanted for her friend's b-day and to shop around for clothes at the same time. Cavin and me practically shopped the whole of bugis junction and bugis street before peggie was finally able to meet up with me.

After passing her the "stuff", cavin and me dropped by NYDC for a quick dinner and we managed to catch a cute sight.

With our growling stomaches appleased it was time for more shopping... Cavin bought a jacket and a t-shirt from S&K while i got myself a shirt from Esprit (leong liao haha...)



Our shopping done, it was time to go home and rest my still recovering body (yes i was sick on friday, yes i went out to buy the "stuff" for peggie even though i was sick but that was only cos i was gonna go anyway and yes she better appreciate it cos i waited very long for her too hahaha she better treat me to lunch or something *hint hint* =P) before we went to Eric's grandma funeral with kenneth and kelvin. Accompanied him awhile before we were informed that "Scary Toilet Papers" (Read out loud in chinese. For non-chinese peeps out there, its a literal translation of "Terrorists") are seizing control of Orchard Cineleisure and all "Counter-Scary Toilet Papers" were to storm level 9 of Cineleisure for the takedown of the "Scary Toilet Papers" (actually all that lame stuff is to say that we are gonna go play CS @ Cine la).

Had a very good game that night, we were all in a team battling others and we owned the opposition. Shiok. After the game we were all hungry (hey it was hard battling "Scary Toilet Papers" ok...) so we went to a shop near Deskar road for dim sum. Kenneth ordered alot of food which we almost couldn't finish... heres a look at how much food we had to finish (we were there at 4am).

Reached home at 5.30 and fell asleep after taking my medicine.

Woke up bright and early @ around 10am to go buy paints for my house with my family. The bill came up to about 521 bucks!!!!! Friggin' expensive man! And the shop owner was so "niao" (stingy) that he even refused to round down the number to 500. Not going back to that shop anymore...

Went to IKEA Tampines next. We saw "Junior" (my elder cousin actually) and wife-to-be there. Chatted alittle b4 we went our ways. It was only my second trip to IKEA and there were so so many things i wanted to buy! In the end i had to restrain myself and grab only the things i need. Got some shelving, picture frames and new lighting for my little "Extreme Makeover - Eugene's Room Edition" heeheehee!

Gonna start painting on new year's day. Still need to get a few things though, like brushes and stenciling items? Watch too much "摆家乐" already haha... gonna D.I.Y. some unique things on my walls hehehe...

Still need to work today (monday, new year's eve) though. Night shift. Which means i prolly wud be doing my countdown @ work. Oh well. This is just another lonely holiday for me. Guess i better get some sleep now. Medicine's working its magic.

On the Road towards Recovery and Discovery!

Unknowningly it has been almost 4 months and i'm about to graduate from my Aircraft Maintainence course and i will soon be posted to a company for OJT (On-Job-Training). I've already gone thru the interview on monday, and i'm quietly confident that i should be able to get in without a hitch when i grad on October 3rd 2007. However, that also means a period of uncertainty that i'm am both looking and not looking forward to. Oh well, we are all gonna die sometime only sooner or later, so i say just do it!

It is also means that i am nearing that day of one's life when one is older/ more mature. I'm shouldn't be celebrating it this year although our class is having a BBQ on that particular day, 29/09/07. I wish for my career to take off smoothly from then on and my financial fortunes to get better and better. HUAT ARH!

Went to Mustafa's again tonite with aaron for some shopping of household items. But not b4 some food in our stomachs of course. We had some Char Kuey, BBQ Chix Wings and Hokkien Prawn Mee at Eminent Plaza's Lavender Foodcourt b4 our shopping. We bought mostly household items like toiletries but aaron got the "urge" to buy some sweets for his "kid" as well. =D We tried to find the Adidas Deodorant that we liked but to no avail. I got a new toothbrush and earphones for myself! Both of us spent like over $40+ there. LoL. Money well spent i must say.

Welp, guess i'm gonna have to stop here now cos its about 1.22am... gonna need my handsome sleep if i'm gonna pay attention in class later.

I have not been sick for dunno how long liao.

Happened barely an hour after i reached home from school.

Started having stomache upset.

After running for the loo for the forth time i suddenly felt really sick and cold.

PUKED.

Damn.

Felt better after puking.

Went to sleep.

Woke up @ 10.30 only to find out that i had a fever.

Damn.

What a way to start the weekend.
