Thursday
School ends today. I guess its now time to change our mindset back to working again instead of the "student" life we've had these 4 months. Theres gonna be a "trade" test tml @ GASCA, prolly testing our technical proficiency. Really nervous about it, wonder whats it like. On a lighter note, i'm gonna meet my man Chris (birthday boy tml!) and Peggie, as well as a few others, all of whom i knew from my Starhub days, for dinner.
Turning up 20 minutes late due to the traffic jam, i found Chris, Peggie and Joyce waiting for me @ the City Hall MRT. There, i got my second present for my birthday this year, a T-Shirt! Chris had a belt from us and i found out that Vicky and Henrie will be joining us later as they were coming in from KL!! Later i knew they were "together" from Joyce, and that it was quite recent i guess. Did not feel anything much about the news really, perhaps a little glad that Vicky has finally someone to care for her, so i guess i should be happy for her.
Me and Peggie
The "group of 4" then proceeded to a restaurant that i liked - New York New York - (ah yes... Peggie likes it too lol) for makan. Chris had Ribeye Steak and while both Joyce and i had Black Pepper and Original Ribs respectively, Peggie had Pasta. There were loads of laughter and food sharing, the stress of tml's trade test temporarily forgotten. After dinner, the group had wanted to join up with "the couple" and go for drinks @ Chinatown. I left early with the test on my mind.
Salmon Salad!
I tot these are supposed to be Cheezey "BALLS"?
Ribeye Steak
Original Flavored Ribs
Now u see it now u don't!

Friday
9.30am and i'm standing at the main gate of GASCA Loyang with the other eleven members of AMAP2. I could sense the jittery in the minds of the guys, even Bear and me. We would later find out the horrors of the trade test. Somehow, it seems that AJI and GASCA had somehow cok-ed up and the Chief Instructor was not informed of the test, hence the materials and tools were not ready for us. We waited for a long time before we took the test. By day's end, only 6 of us completed the test partly due to insufficent and sometimes faulty tools. I, sadly, was one of the DNFs (Did Not Finish), as i got one of the faulty riverting gun just as i was about to finish the LAST, 5, SIMPLE, blind riverts.
I was really overjoyed as i knew it was quite simple to use. The sound of the preneumatic riverter sounded.
NOTHING HAPPENED.
FUCK. WADS WRONG WITH THIS SHIT.
COME ON!
I TRIED AGAIN.
STILL NOTHING.
I LOOKED FOR THE OTHER RIVERTER.
SHIT SOMEONE's USING IT.
FUCK.
TIMES UP.
FUCK.
I WAS THIS CLOSE.
In the end, we were told that the management would decide again and we should wait for AJI to inform us.
FUCK.
Going home time, i was in a pretty bad mood, but that was put aside for the time being as i joined Vincent and gang for some street soccer. I went even though i was mentally and physically shagged. I enjoyed that workout, and made plans to do that again next week. Went home to wash up and headed out for my next program, some seabreeze and meet up with my new friend Jacky, who rides the same bike as i am, @ yishun dam.
Kenneth, Eric, Kelvin and Bear, too, joined me there, at my invitation. After Jacky left, Ben appeared and joined the group i was with. We chatted a little and Ben insisted that i test ride his new K7 1000. It felt damn good. Kinda made me miss my old K2 1000. After that @ around 2am, we proceeded to have some dim sum @ a coffeeshop near the thomson/mandai road junction which was still open. Yummm...

Sunday
Stayed out quite late as both of us did not have to work on monday, we had our dinner at Xin Wang (Kovan). I had my usual Curry Rice and he had his usual Pork Chop Baked Rice. Yum. The rest of the nite was spent at the nearby arcade until around 1am. Gosh it really reminds me of the old secondary school days when i played bowling at the bowling centre housing the arcade everyday after finishing my 'n' level exam. Arranged to meet again for a movie later, so there should be a move review coming up again, so stay tuned ya.
Hope mummsy likes it!
Gonna go to Bikeworks tml morning to remove my exhaust valve, as well as go pay my own bike installment. Guess i better be sleeping now yeah?
Tis is gene, signing off at 4.49am!
Sweet dreams!!
