Just in case readers do not know who Jeremy Goh is, he is my BMT Mate back in 2004 and he passed away at the age of 24 due to the much publicised dragon boat accident while representing Singapore in Cambodia.
There were alot of people there by the time i reached there and the mood was solemn. Some of my BMT Mates were already there and i joined them after paying my respects. We chatted for awhile, reminiscing the old times, sometimes bursting out in laughter over the funny things we did while in BMT. I think there were some curious stares but i do not feel that we are not respecting the deceased but instead we know that Jeremy would not want us to be sad and cry for him but to happy and carry on with our lives instead.
There were alot of press around and the Prime Minister came to pay his respects too.

PM Lee also gave an interview which you can watch by clicking the link below. http://video2.channelnewsasia.com/cnavideos/multiplevideos_watermark.asp?skin=player1.swf&bgskin=playerbackground.swf&filename=tue02.flv&adfilebefore=cna video2.flv&adfileafter=&playmode=S
The body will be sent for cremation on Thursday. Friends and wellwishers can either proceed to Blk 354 AMK Ave 8 at around 11am for the shuttle bus or be at Mandai Crematorium at around 12.45pm for the combined funeral of the 5 deceased. Those of you who would like to leave a condolence message for him can visit http://rememberingjerbroni.blogspot.com or click the link located on the right side of the blog.
PS: Jeremy, i regret being unable to turn up for your cremation due to work commitments but i will never forget you. Go in peace my brother. Till we meet again in heaven, i wish you all the best for the next journey in your life whereever that may be.
Good luck my friend, and rest in peace.
