Misson Failed but Objective Completed!

Yeah!

Finally finished my bike run-in!

For those who know nothing about engines, its the "seasoning" of the engine as its new.

Finished it on tuesday night, the bike had barely 100km more to travel before it completes its run-in, so i took it out for a ride. Cavin joined me for the little "excursion" and first destination was to West Coast Macdonalds'. I'm not usually so "ON" going to a place so far juz to have Macdonalds' but... lol anyway i had a McSpicy Meal and its off to the next stop! Seen a bike which i suspect was my friend's. Did not see him though but oh well.

It was Jurong Hill next, but i couldn't remember which expressway i was supposed to take, PIE(TUAS) or AYE(TUAS)! I juz went for the nearest expressway known to me and that was AYE(TUAS). Me and Cavin then happily set off for Jurong Hill. We did not see the sign for Jurong Birdpark (Jurong Hill was next to it) and had no choice but to turn back as we had reached Tuas Checkpoint. Turning back, i then took the PIE back hoping to see the sign for my destination however, i had either missed it or took the wrong way again (hey i have only been there for like 4 times in more than 3 years!) lol. Anyway, i gave up looking for that damned place and we travelled home.

Misson had failed but my Objective was met so i'm happy. Changed my EO to Motul 7100 Fully Synthetic @ Bikeworks today and got to know that i was very lucky i decided to finish my run-in on tuesday nite as Bikeworks would not be open from Thursday till next week!

HAPPY~ Can wack the bike loh! Was jio-ed by Malcolm and Enyao to go to track this Saturday, still wondering should i go or not, will prolly decide later.

Meanwhile, check out the second part of my entry!

A couple of days ago we had two really old russian bi-planes renting our hangar to do some maintenance. Our instructor then led us on a "tour" of the planes the very same day. When we reached the planes we could hardly believe our eyes as the bi-planes looked like giant toy planes...

Heres some of the pics i took.

They really look like toy planes don't they? They don't look like they were airworthy either. Our instructor later told us that some of the wing are contructed by FABRICS, not metal and that they were not meant to fly very high. I was pretty amazed by the fact that planes like these still existed as i would put their age to... pre-world war? Damn!

LoL I wonder what more surprises tml wud bring...

Goodnite everyone!
