First of all would like to welcome back Yongjia from his 1 and a half month-long overseas stint onboard the RSS Endurance!
Received him on last Saturday morning @ Changi Naval Base. As we were watching the ship come in, we waved to Yongjia as we knew where his position on the ship was - @ the front of the ship. One of his secondary jobs was to throw the rope attached to the moorings overboard and onto the shore for the ground crew. We watched as he got ready and swung it over...
We were filled with horror as the weights attached to the rope hurled dangerously towards a row of parked cars, the first of which was an Audi. There was a audible "PAK!" and we heaved a sign of relief. It had landed barely a foot from the luxury car (We would know later that that Audi belonged to a Colonel whom was also the Fleet Commander... imagine the if that weight had travelled a foot further...). Yongjia later showed us around the vessel and after that we had pizza @ Compass Point afterwhich we all went home to rest!

Secondly, would like to congratulate Dennis on the full month of his daughter!
Went to the full month celebration of his baby daughter on sunday and boy was the place crowded! Was able to meet up with the some of the Modsters there too!
