Had a bad experience at Esso Upper Changi (the first one if u go in via TPE) this morning.
Pumped petrol there ard 2am after work. Was going to pay up at the cashier's when i saw my filipino colleague. We greeted each other the way like the hip-hop people do, shake hands then something like a hug. This female cashier suddenly commented quite loudly, "Wah, both of you so fat, knock together then how?"
Hearing that i got fucking angry and i immediately gave a angry retort that us being fat got none of her business. You know what she did? She fucking smiled. Wow. A customer is angry liao and she still can fucking smile. Really live up to Cheers' moto "Service with a smile"! Except that now it is "Insults with a smile"!
I then calmly paid for my fuel and left, knowing if i lost control i might have been arrested for assault or something like that. Really felt like taking off my helmet and throwing it in her face. Thinking of it now i'm glad i did not use my nice and expensive helmet on her ugly face.
Anyway, I have written in to NTUC (who owns Cheers) to "feedback" about the highly suspicious "quality" of their service staff. Will wait for their reply. Wonder what they would do to her? I hope she just gets a reprimand or docking of pay or something like that. Even if she gets the sack then thats still considered ok, cos she still gets to keep her ugly face intact (Yeah i know thats evil, but no one asked her to make unprovoked insults of other people in the first place).
